Leadership. Institutions. Policy.

Advancing Leadership. Strengthening Institutions.

The quality of leadership has profound consequences for the institutions that shape society.

InLaME works to strengthen the knowledge, capabilities and systems required for effective leadership across government, business, education, traditional institutions and civil society.

Strong institutions require capable leadership, informed decision-making and a commitment to public value.

Curated stories shaping leadership, institutions and education policy.

Our Approach

Research. Dialogue. Development. Impact.

InLaME's work is built around four interconnected areas.

01

RESEARCH

We generate and disseminate knowledge on leadership, management, governance, education and institutional development.

02

DIALOGUE

We create platforms where leaders, researchers, policymakers and practitioners can exchange ideas and examine complex challenges.

03

DEVELOPMENT

We translate knowledge into leadership and institutional development programmes that respond to real-world needs.

04

IMPACT

We seek to ensure that our research, programmes and partnerships contribute to improved leadership, stronger institutions and better policy outcomes.

Our Centres

A Network of Specialised Centres

InLaME is structured around a network of specialised Research and Programme Centres, each focusing on a distinct area of leadership, management, governance, education and institutional development. Rather than operating primarily as a conventional training provider, the Institute brings together research, executive education, leadership development, policy engagement and practical programmes through its Centres.

Why InLaME?

Leadership Beyond the Individual

Leadership development is often approached as an individual exercise. InLaME takes a broader view.

Leaders shape institutions.

Institutions shape society.

Policy shapes institutions.

Knowledge shapes policy.

This understanding informs everything we do.

Our Institutional Model

Think. Develop. Convene. Influence.

1

THINK

Research and knowledge generation.

2

DEVELOP

Leadership and institutional capacity building.

3

CONVENE

4
